I am currently focused on vaginal microbiota studies. I work on an ongoing TUBITAK 1001 project, titled as ‘Evaluation of the relationship between vaginal, placental and neonatal mycobiota and microbiota with preterm birth in women with short cervical length’. I am also involved in another project related with tolerant cells and development of colistin resistance on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates.
