The tuberculosis research unit is designed based on national standards and consists of infrastructure for culture, drug susceptibility tests, and genotyping analysis. Clinical, microbiological, and epidemiological studies will be conducted since multidrug-resistant tuberculosis is a critical public health problem in our country and in the neighboring countries.
