Throughout my years in medical school, I have always found the relationship of microbes with the human body interesting. Therefore, as a scientific path, I have chosen to pursue a PhD in medical microbiology. I am mainly interested in the clinical impact and various molecular mechanisms of emerging antibiotic resistance. Currently, I am working on worldwide changes in antibiotic use and antibiotic resistance in the COVID19 era, compared to the pre-COVID19 era.
