August 1, 2024by Emirhan Akman

The practice of uroscopy, now called urinalysis, has a long history reaching back to the 4th century BC. Urinalysis is important and a useful guiding tool for kidney stones, infections, diabetes, acute or chronic kidney injury and metabolic disorders. In their comparative study “Urinalysis in Medical Diagnosis: the Historical and Contemporary Usage”, KUISCID researchers compared historical and contemporary usage of urinalysis and published their findings in the journal “Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology” (IDCM) . Congratulations to all our researchers.
