NEWS The Best PhD Thesis Award PhD Thesis of Dr.Cansel Vatansever, who currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at KUISCID, has been awarded as the best outstanding thesis by Council of Higher Education (YÖK) under Health and Sports Sciences. PUBLICATION Do we lack efficient therapy for superbugs? Elevated antibiotic resistance of bacteria has become a threat in terms of efficient infection treatment. KUISCID researchers have published their meta-analysis of “Does Emerging Carbapenem Resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii Increase the Case Fatality Rate? Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” in Infectious Disease Reports. Their study focused on the treatment of bacterial infections with high antibiotic resistance. Click here for publication.
