NEWS Infectious Diseases Report of Türkiye KUISCID researchers organized a meeting on 10th November with expert researchers of the field to prepare a report of the current status of infectious diseases in Türkiye. The report aims to fill the gap for missing data and to manage the existing epidemiological data appropriately. In this regard, we have focused on a synergistical data collection model which will also lead to innovative solutions to treat infections. The second meeting will take place in February 2024. NEWS Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever: Türkiye Consortium Türkiye is an endemic region for Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever disease for which cases are reported since 2002. KUISCID will be hosting the Türkiye Consortium for the disease with gathering the collaborative centers. The expert researchers will discuss the up-to-date findings in the international symposium which will take place on 19 January 2024. Follow us for detailed announcements.

CONFERENCE Scientific Response Against COVID-19 KUISCID Vice Director Prof. Füsun Can was one of the invited speakers of the symposium “Scientific Response Against COVID-19” held in TUBITAK Marmara Research Institute on 23 November 2023. Ministery of Industry and Technology, Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB), Türkiye COVID-19 Platform and participants from other universities attended to the symposium. Prof. Can explained our current research studies in her speech and pointed out the possibilities of future collaborations.

NEWS Visit of Netherlands Embassy to KUISCID Rory Nuijens from the innovation, technology and science consultancy unit of the Dutch Embassy, ​​Turkey & Balkans Director Necla Günay and Lotte Stam from the Dutch Ministry of Health visited KUISCID and received detailed information about our research projects.
